I need a Wind surfing board?
ok i need a windsurfing board/kit. that is 230 ltrs and isnt over $5000. any help?
Get a used Mistral Equipe, One Design or Pan Am; or a used Fanatic UltraCat or Mega Cat. These old longboards have volumes in the range 210 to 250 liters are good for learning, sailing in light to moderate wind, crousing around and can point (go upwind) very well. Even though they can be more than 20 years old these were the best longboards ever made.They used to cost a lot, but now you can get them for a couple of hundred dollars, or less. The original rigs are totally superceeded, luckily you can get these boards from somebody who updraded to modern sails, booms and mast, or buy them separately. If you want a more modern board, maybe a Starboard Start but you will expend much more and although easier for learning, has no use after that.
