I just opened up a new coffee house and sandwich deli?
i wanted to try to sell sandwiches and coffee's in bulk to firms where they have meetings and usually provide the food.
i have a list of firms but i dont know how to approach them
any ideas on what i could say?
You need to reach out to the receptionists and secretaries because they are the ones making the decisions where to get lunch for meetings. Make fliers and pick one or two offices a day to go to. Take some free coffee and explain that you're a new business and would like to introduce yourself and what you have to offer. Maybe even include some coupons for a drink with sandwich purchase or half off lunch (something like that) on the fliers. Also, magnetic business cards are great for offices because they stick to the filing cabinets!
Butter up the decision makers, sweeten the deal with the coupons and free coffee that you bring. Make it a memorable experience and they may think of you next time.
