Anyone with the new version of the iPod classic- does it have a hardrive or a memory chip type thing?
i'm thinking of getting a new ipod, and i'm curious if the newest version of the ipod classic has a harddrive (like, my mom has a really old version of the classic and when you turn it on, you can hear it running if you put your ear up to it) but all the nanos have a sort of chip, i'm not sure what it's called specifically. so.. which does it have?
Yes the Classic(6th gen) has a hard drive.The nano has Flash Memory instead of a hard Drive like the Classic.
