Where can I find a front door decorative sign/banner with changable pieces for each holiday/season?
When I was little my mom had a cloth sign that hung on our front door. It said WELCOME at the top and beneath that you could velcro a cute decoration for each holiday or season. It had a heart for valentine's day, a bunny for Easter, a Santa for Christmas, etc.....
Does anyone know where I can get something like this? either from a store or hand-crafted?
You can find those at craft stores like A.C. Moore, Michael's..not sure where you live so I don't know what stores you have in your area. Also the website etsy.com is awesome for finding handmade crafts. You can search on there for it or you can find someone who has stuff you like or has something similar to what you wanted and request it to be made for you. I have found a lot of people on that site that do take your requests. So you can draw up your idea of what you want it to look like and scan it in for them with specific instructions on what you want and they will make it for you. It is a very affordable website for crafts and very unique. One last suggestion is looking online or in the newspaper for craft fairs around your area and going to those--they tend to have a lot of them around Christmas. Usually you can find people at those that also take your requests and will make them for you. Good Luck
