Why is ice cream soft and unfrozen when everything else is frozen.?
Brand new frig.. I have checked setting it only has setting in frig.
I put in some soup to freeze it is frozen solid pretty quick, yet
the Ice cream I just put in freezer yesterday is mushy?
Freezer works fine except with ice cream? what could be wrong?

have you tried moving the icecream to a different area? some freezers have cold spots. And have you had this brand of ice cream before? some ice cream isnt meant to get rock hard. but yeah, i would take an empty milk jug and fill it with water and put it in there to see how long it takes to freeze, and keep an eye on the rest of your food.
You didnt tip the fridge on its side to move it did you? A guy at lowes told us we could, and really he shouldnt have. so we tipped it on its side to get it home, and it worked ok at first, but about a week or so later it stopped working, so keep an eye on things, you might want to get a thermometer to put in it to make sure its holding temperature.
