Is it dangerous to still use my deep fat fryer?
Whilst cleaning the deep fat fryer I have noticed that at the bottom of the fryer, the teflon covering has gone bubbly, and even a small bit has come away.
Do you think it is dangerous to continue using? I've only had the fryer a year, and have kept it in tip top condition so don't understand why it appears to be melting away. I've never used the highest temperature setting either.
I have heard that it would be dangerous you need to consult the manufacturer on a email website and ask point blank questions.
