Xbox 360 wired headset fix?!?!?!?
i have the wired headset. when i plug it in it shows the little icon showing the controller reads headset. but i cant hear or talk on it. but i think i found the problem when u open the ear part of the headset it has 2 small blue and black cords which look fine but there is one thick black cord that i think supposed to be connected to sumthing but what? it is just there and not conectted? WHAT DO I DO?? what does the black cord plug into. PLZ TELL ME PICTURES WOULD BE NICE....

try going to system then family settings then xbox live controls then privacy and friends then voice and text and select everyone.
