On the show It Take A Thief in order to make the windows break resistant they applied some sort of adhesive fi?
I live in an apartment and my dog woke me up this morning about 2am, standing over me and growling at the window. I have been implmenting safety features to my apartment and the windows are still my weakest point- this adhesive tape or film would be a huge help, but I dont know what it's called or where to find it.
USA I am not sure what the product is called, but it is a clear film applied to the glass which prevents the glass from shattering. Ask your local wholesale distributor of windows about it. Here in Northeast Pennsylvania, there are two contractors who are factory trained and authorized installers. It is not cheap, $100 per window would not surprise me. If you do not have a window or building supply distributor to call, contact Anderson or Harvey, the window manufacturers.
