Can decaf coffee give you stomach aches?
Every morning before school I have a flavia decaf coffee. I recently tried a new flavor of decaf and got a really bad stomach ache. Then the next day I had the same flavor and again got a really bad stomach ache. I went back to the old flavor yesterday and what do you know, no stomach ache. Could the new flavor of decaf be causing the stomach ache? If so, why?
Yes, different brands have different "acidities", the amount of acid in the coffee bean. It is not connected to the caffeine. It is possible that the new coffee has a higher acidity level than the coffee you are used to.
