Flower Display Shop

Where have all the little flowers been taken?
The gardens are empty...
and the ground cries out for mercy...
Asking to be spared the shame and the pain
of being pulled up by the roots
with petals in disarray....
then being put on display in the seedy
flower shops
Where gardeners value dollars.. not the preciousness
of the flowers
that were ripped from the gardens
while the ground cries for mercy...
and are set upon by hornets
whose sting is diseased
So if the flowers suffer now..
who is safe... but the trees?
