Does anyone know if moisturizing work gloves exist?

My father is a plumber and has difficulty with his incredibly dry hands on a daily basis because his jersey work gloves dry his hands out so bad, especially in the winter time when he has to wear them more frequently. He usually has to wear rubber gloves under the jersey gloves so they don't dry his hands out as bad.

Does anyone know of some kind of work glove that doesn't do this kind of thing?

It sounds like he could be allergic to the fabric or dye in the gloves. I just Googled it, I'm a glove wearer, but I've never heard or worn Jersey Gloves.

There are other work gloves out there, I suggest he change name brands. See what happens.

Reasons why skin is dry: too much sun. too much water like washing in hot water. ALWAYS wear gloves for chores, gardening, winter, summer, spring or fall, even when you're going out in the cold. Gloves are invented to protect hands, they used them even when they go out in the sun, in the 30's, 40's, 50's to keep their hands baby soft & to prevent getting sun.

At night, have your dad exfoliate, put some Cetaphil while they're still damp, and have him put gloves on. It won't heal his hands overnight, but it will improve the condition of his hands. Also, he needs to keep exfoliating each time he takes a warm (not hot) showers. Some people wake up using a hot shower, but this will not improve the condition of his hands. There's also a brand that you buy at hardware store called: O'Keeffe's Working Hands, they work for hand & feet. I used to put that on my feet, because I used to soak them when we go sailing and my feet is the only thing that's rough. They're pretty spendy but worth it.

My dad was 98 years old, when I started taking care of him, his hand & feet were like the desert, I try to fix them by giving him manicure but he had spent all of his life working that he had neglecting himself.
