System keeps killing my car?
I have a 12 inch kicker cvr and just hooked up a new amp pushing 1000wats and 300 rms.. ran the system for a while (30 minute drive). Got home parked and left. Came back and car would no start.Took a few trys and fired up. Got my battery, alt, starter checked and all is fine. Come to find out my new amp is draining too much power( dont know why i didn't think of that first). Any suggestions to fix this. i asked about a bigger battery and the guy told me id be tough to find for my car.
ryan-- thanks.. i have heard mixed reviews about the caps.. saying they are useless and don't help the battery. ill check them out and see what happens
Definitely a stronger battery. Most of them are universal anyway, should fit your car without a doubt. Capacitors are good to have too, not much help to the battery but they store extra voltage for every next hit on your sub..pretty much more effective for sound.
