how to fix a cloged pipe?
in my laundry room in the basment i have this white bucket like sink that the washing machines hose shoots water into 1 day the sink was stocked up with stuff from my kitchin sink suck as food ect i want to clean the pipe without calling the plumber and i need to know how some 1 give me a list of tools i will need and instructions on wat to do
Same as Super **** says, you can use a snake to clean it. It sounds like the water is draining slowly and coming up (overflowing) into your mop sink.
You can try some Drain-o or boil some water on the stove and send it down the pipe. Feel the pipe where you can and where it turns from hot to cool, is usually where the clog is. Sometimes the hot water will break the clog loose if it is grease related, but it's usually good insurance to stick the snake in there and root it out, since it's so easy to do.
