is it normal to not like food cooked by other people?
I had dinner at a friend's tonight and they made an amazing Mexican feast. I brought back some rice and cactus salad bc they were sooooo good and asked my brother to try some. He asked if I made it or someone else and I said my friend and her parents had made it, and he freaked out and said no thanks bc he doesn't like to eat anything cooked by other people.
he eats at restaurants all the time though. what the hell!? is it normal to not like food cooked by people you don't know?
That is weird. Especially since he eats at restaurants. If he never had cactus maybe this is his way of not being a wimp about eating it? Even though it tastes great.
Me - I don't like buffets (commercial) but will eat potlucks at work only because I have cooked and worked with these girls for over 10 years. I can't say how it would be at an unfamiliar potluck but I would probably chow down.
