Where can I buy movie making tools like panning devices?

I am an amature video maker and I am wondering if there are devices that I can buy to create certain shots. For example, is there such thing as a sort of track that I can attach the camera to that would slowly move the camera along to create a motion shot? I am thinking about creating my own device of this nature but I would like to know if it is possible to buy something similar? Any extra input is greatly appreciated, thanks.

There are lots of devices...

Like a camera "jib" or crane:

If you get a crane, you need a method to see what the camcorder is seeing... I got a Sony portable DVD player that has AV-in capabilities (many of the portable DVD players don't have AV-In, so be careful... Just connect that AV-in on the portable DVD player to the analog AV out of the camcorder... works great. I think mine has a 8.5" screen - and the battery lasts for 6 hours playing DVDs - longer just being a monitor...

I use:

and someone GENTLY pushes me. The camcorder can be handheld or on a tripod.

Or you can get a wheelchair... office chairs with wheels are OK - but not so good on carpet because the wheels are typically little, so they will make bumps - and you will bump over them.
