Why Is Healthcare So Messed Up?
Hi guys,
In the United States, why is American healthcare so messed up? It like doctors are fed up with low reimbursements & regulations, patients are angry due to high premiums & quality care, politicians at each others throat, and private insurance companies making themselves rich, with lack luster results!
Why did this happen and why are so many Americans are disgusted with it and the overall results?
Because the American people have let it get that way. Do not get me wrong, many are spread lies and half truths. But the bottom line is that if the American people want change, they vote for it.
And they voted in Obama, and then did not vote in the politicians to help him bring in change.
So while loads of American's are disgusted with the US healthcare system, not enough want to change it.
FACT - Insurance companies in the USA admit to pushing up prices, buying politicians and not paying out claims when they should
FACT - PER PERSON the USA spends more on healthcare than any other nation on the planet
FACT - Obama debated his plans before the election for healthcare
FACT - the chance of a child under five of dying in the USA is greater than industrialised nations with universal healthcoverage
FACT - Obama was elected by the American people to bring in change
FACT - Obama wants to stop insurance companies from screwing the American people
FACT - The reforms Obama wants work in the Netherlands and in Switzerland
