Why does everyone think you have to be a punk to listen to punk music?
Or if you don't look a certain way you can't listen to goth music or punk music or you are a "poser"?
music is music mann.
its here to speak to us, to inspire us, to say what we cant, to get the word out...about anything...
there's no one standing in the music section of a store telling people "hey mann you cant listen to this, why don't you go look over there"
its our right to CHOOSE what we listen to
i have insane taste in music. you wouldn't look at me and think i listen to dianna ross.
genre is just another way stereotype.
its just another way to say "woah what a poser"
you're only a poser if you are acting like someone you're not...
what you listen to or what you wear doesn't make you a poser.
being a drone to society and the media however does.
listen to what you want.
wear what you want.
who cares if people call you a poser.
what do they know...they're probably posers themselves
