Chest pains after getting rid of a fever?
Ok, so yesterday I developed a fever up to 101.5 , had body aches, and headaches. Well this morning it has gone down but I hadn't ate anyting for a whole day. Well, I get up and eat a bowl of cereal. About 20 mins later I develope a chest pain where my ribs meet. Any suggestions on what is going on?

First of all, your age should be considered before calling an ambulance and running lights and sirens to the nearest ER. If you're under 25, you're probably OK being that the chest pain you described does not fit the typical description of a heart malfunction. It does however, as the previous user suggested, need to be looked at promptly, the nearest Urgent Care, or regular physician should suffice. Truly it almost seems as though you had a case of indigestion, which can be caused by not eating for a long period. When you do eat, your stomach produces more than normal acid, which has no place to go but up. Secondly, you seem to have described the onset of some sort of a viral infection, which for this time of year is no surprise, but the fact that it was only one day is confusing, yet another reason to be checked promptly. A short duration of viral symptoms usually points to something bigger that may be undetected for some time. Please note that I am not a physician, and can in no way diagnose your condition. This is merely a suggestion. If you feel you need prompt medical attention, please report to the ER. Your body will tell you if something is really wrong. I've rarely heard a really sick person say "I'm Dying" without coming really close within a short time.
