I have several plants that have a silver waxy look to the leaves, the outsides of the leaves are,?
turning yellow? What disease/fungus do these have? And what are possible solutions?
I have a peppermint, cilantro, bean and tomato plant effected.
Also there are some small black dots on the surface of the peppermint.
I was reading about spotted wilt today. I will post below..
It might help explain but do some searches on the internet to see if it looks simular to what images are posted to make sure you got the right one.
Viruses
There are several different viruses that affect tomatoes. Mosaic, spotted wilt, wilt, etc. The only way to rid the plant of viruses is to dig up the plant. Never compost any plant with a virus, as you might transmit the virus to additional plants. Viruses are easily transmitted from one plant to another with tools, so always clean your tools after you’ve worked with an infected plant, before you work with an un-infected plant.
