How to approach my manager?

Hi.
I think this question is for grown up people,who had good experience in their life.
I work with one of the best world leading airlines. My position is guest service agent and I work in the lounge with VIP guests.
Honestly I do’t like it and want to move to operations. Because I really adore operations such as : check in counters,boarding gates e.t.c.
Could you people tell me how to ask my manager to be transfered to operatons? I’d love to work there what makes me …
