Can someone recommend a counter top home deep fryer?
I went to Target and looked at them, they all look so SMALL, like I'd be doing one or two pieces of chicken at a time! 
Can someone tell me if you have one you like that is a good resource for a family or 4 or 5 people? Thanks in advance, have a great Sunday!
I'm with the first poster. I have had friends who have had deep fryers and from the outside looking in - they stink after awhile, especially if they get used a lot. Oil is pretty expensive and it appears that there is a tendency to use and reuse oil to the point where it degrades. My MIL gave me one once that I didn't use. It was a T-Fal and looked small - even though it took up too much counter space in my opinion..
When deep fry which isn't very often - I do the dutch oven thing too. I like fried food, but I would weigh 300 lbs if I ate is as much as I would like to.
