Questions about Halogen and Xenon headlights?
I was under the impression that Halogen and Xenon headlights were one and the same...is this true?
I have a truck that's a '90 Silverado K1500...is it tungsten sealed and can I just install halogen bulbs or do I have to install different housing and wires and stuff like that?

A true Xenon system like those on an Audi is very different than the Halogen lights. They need special bulbs, projectors, and ballasts for them to work properly. If you are talking about the 900X ot HX bulbs that say Xenon on them then yes they are the same and just using the word as a sales gimmick. It's a scam so just buy a good set of Halogen.
