j/w, since I can not remember the last time I hugged my dad, since I am a clausterphobic person, hugs arent really my thing...

clausterphobia is about being in enclosed places, which being hugged, is enclosed.
Well,the last time I hugged my dad was just after he died ( he had passed before we got to the hospital)and I held my mom's hand as she died. I knew my parents were getting older but I never thought of them dying.I guess we just think of them always being there.To those of you who have not hugged your parent(s) for a while take a few minutes to give them a hug and tell them you love them. You'd be surprised how happy those simple gestures are appreciated by your parents.You can't hug a memory,even though you can hold them in your heart.
